Dagger Straits

The sea between Norland and northern Volkrania and the Wildlands freezes in the depth of winter. The currents cause huge floes of ice to splinter, giving this narrow band of sea its distinctive name. This icebridge allows those Norlanders brave enough to cross entrance to Volkrania, but only holds for a few weeks at most. Unfortunately it also allows warbands of Orcs to cross the ice to raid into Norland.
