Background: Yashara worked as a courier for the Metropolis Resistance transporting orders and supplies between different cells. He was involved in the location and retrieval of the JLA black box. Yashara survived the overthrow of the Aliens and returned to his native Japan where he formed a part of the newly formed Tokyo government.
