Background: Like his colleagues Blades and Silver Blade, Lightning Bolt acted as a martial arts trainer for the resistance although unlike his peers he did not use swords regularly. Lightning Bolt was killed during the final assault on the Alien base in Metropolis when he stood on a buried land mine. He was buried in the Gotham cemetery like many of those who fell to the Aliens.
