Grixx

Grixx are a part-reptile, part-insect creature from an unknown planet. Grixx are approximately snake-like although they have several hundred small legs on which they travel; the top 20 or so pairs are adapted into short stabbing blades. Grixx are covered in short white hair and have long pointed heads dominated by crocodile-like jaws. Grixx have no obvious eyes but seem to be able to detect nearby creatures with no problem. Grixx normally grow to 4 feet in length but some individuals of up to 6 feet have been reported. Grixx are highly territorial predators and, apart from during their short breeding season, they will fight and kill any other Grixx that approach: these fighting instincts make Grixx common attractions in fighting pits where two or more Grixx will be released and bets placed on who the survivor will be.
