DeepEarth

The DeepEarth, often called the Deeps or Underdark, is a vast network of tunnels and caverns beneath Duralyth's surface. It is rumoured that they reach to the very core of the world, but no one has ever ventured that far. There are many entrances to the DeepEarth, mainly in the mountains although there are rumoured to be more throughout other locales in Erilya.

The DeepEarth is a perilous place. As well as various natural hazards, there are creatures here that are savage, wondrous, and horrific - from Beholders and Kuo-Toa to the Dark Elves, the Drow in the deepest parts. The Mandragora patrol the DeepEarth beneath Lonaraban and have a permanent presence in Yar'atach'haim, where they began their subterranean journey prior to the Purge of Fire.
