D-engine technology

One of the first and most important uses of Arcanotech was the creation of the D-engine (dimensional engine), a device that produces almost unlimited amounts of energy (but not power). The D-engine has since replaced all other forms of energy production on the planet, in the process making the Ashcroft Foundation the world's largest, richest and most influential corporation.
