Horrific scene

As the bullet fizzes past you, you look up from the floor in the direction that it came. A short distance along the corridor you see one of the Lerwick men with a terrified glazed expression on his face, he is soaked through to the skin and has his back firmly planted against the far wall of the short corridor as if to prevent something sneaking up behind him. His expression turns to relief when he recognises you and he seems to lower his guard just as two thick, six feet long, jet black enveloping arms wrap around the poor man lifting him back and off his feet. Loose disgusting skin hangs from the arms, they are covered in short black hair and end in numerous serrated claws. The man struggles in vain momentarily and then the air begins to shimmer as if it is some kind of illusion. Then there is nothing. Only the solid wall remains.
