It is thought that Mimic may have been the template for a new class of mass produced clone but was liberated before he/she could be mass produced. Despite her/his powers, Mimic has a naive and childlike mentality, possibly installed by the Aliens as a type of safety system. Mimic took part in the infiltration of the orbital facility containing [[Superman]]&#039;s body and was important in obtaining passage on the supply shuttle and access to various sections of the facility. She/he escaped the facility before the Daxamites destroyed it and returned safely to earth where he/she continued to work for the resistance.
