Built on the former Buccleuch Street, the Fielding Building was designed to showcase the latest in home living by the [[Ashcroft Foundation]] in collaboration with Edinburgh University. It maintained its own power supply, was self-sufficient, and recycled almost 90% of all waste. While criticised for its cost, the building proved popular with buyers when apartments went on the market in December 2084. However, a mysterious fire gutted the building in January 2085: investigations have indicated that the fire was started deliberately. Fortunately, the 20-floor building was not yet occupied. The building now awaits demolition.
