The Global Intelligence Agency is the premier intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination branch within the New Earth Government. Operating on a global, rather than regional, basis, it spans the world trying to find as much information about the strengths and weaknesses of the NEG's enemies such as the [[Migou]], the [[Rapine Storm]] and the [[Esoteric Order of Dagon]]. The GIA is mostly an exterior-facing intelligence agency, as opposed to the FSB, which is an interior-facing security agency.

The GIA is composed of the following divisions:

* GhOST, Global Operations, Surveillance and Tactics (inc. Blackspire)
* OSAT, Office of Science and Arcane Technology
* OCI, Office of Central Intelligence
* OA, Office of Administration (inc. Global Broadcast Information Service)
