Beyond far Yuggoth, in the distant sky, yet not so distant as is safe, whirls the foe of Earth. The Old Ones knew it when the Shoggoths turned on them. The Black Ones knew it when their cities fell on them. The serpent Men knew it when they were driven underground by the cataclysm. And races yet to come shall know it.
