It used to take place only when matters of common interest, such as the death or appointment of a Hierophant or Grand Druid. The invasion by the Mandragora saw many Druids killed as the Mandragora forces stealthily moved into the more remote areas prior to the [[Purge of Fire]].<br /> <br /> During the [[Purge of Fire]] the surviving Druids were forced to join the outside world once more, and many fought a rear-guard action against the invading forces, often at great personal cost.
