Background: The Black Hawks are an elite flying unit in existence since the early years of World War 2. Some members took part in and were killed during the attack on Coast city. After the conquest of Earth the surviving Black Hawks went to ground. They joined the resistance upon the request of General Frank Rock and fought in the battle to retake Metropolis. After the revolution it is now known what happened to them but it is assumed they became part of the Ultramarine corps. The unit's name was later used for the first human-built craft to attempt to leave the solar system but it is unknown of the crew were members of the Black Hawks.
